There are rats in the plane, Flight Cancel

A Boeing 757 jet owned Nepal Airlines was forced to suspend flights from HongKong International Airport. The cause is not because of bad weather or technicalproblems, but due to a rat.

Reporting from the BBC news station, 7 September 2011, the aircraft was initiallyprepared to take off from Hong Kong to Nepal on Tuesday evening local time. However, the pilot discovered a mouse hanging around in the cockpit. Fearingthat the animal could have been damaged wiring or other important components, the pilot had canceled flights.

The passengers were evacuated and eventually moved to Dragonair's flight the next day. When officers checked all the airframe Nepal Airlines, the rodents wereno longer visible.

"The rat was definitely caught up, and unfortunately could not find a way out.Currently we have set a mousetrap in the whole plane," said Sita Gurung, general manager of Nepal Airlines' Hong Kong branch. Gurung also added that it fearedrodents will chew wires are essential for the flight.

Funnily enough, the same plane reportedly detained for 11 hours in Kathmandu,Nepal, after a rat jumped out from the box drinks. Passengers were evacuatedfrom the plane.
This incident reportedly occurred on Monday, September 5, 2011 when the planewill take off to Bangkok, according to a local newspaper.

However, Gurung doubt that the rats are a problem in Kathmandu is the same animal were found in Hong Kong.
